Thomas Nagy is the COO of 21st.BIO, whose goal it is to help accelerate the World’s quest for sustainable food and materials. Earlier in his career Thomas was the founder of the BioInnovation Institute (BII) in Copenhagen, Denmark and prior to that Executive Vice President of Supply Operations with Novozymes A/S.

Throughout his career Thomas has built significant experience within the life science and biotechnology industry. Passionate about innovation and sustainability he helps companies with the transition journey from R&D through scale-up and pilot production to industrial scale manufacturing. He serves on several boards, and as an advisor or as a mentor for a number of startup companies.
